I need to set what is essentially a breakpoint in a table. I have an incrementing counter based on each subsequent occurrence of an ID# field. So, for example, I need to count each ID XXX then reset and count each ID YYY.

This needs to be done in a table not a report.

Any help would be great. Thanks

Steve H.

Hi Misquid,

Can u elaborate a bit?

Got the general idea, but can you put it into context? i.e. gimme an example of what ID xxx is in relation to ID yyy?

I don't understand how you RESET ID yyy and THEN count it (if it's reset - how can it be counted?).
