reset DB location in .qry file 1

Hello

We are migrating to reports CR9 from reports 7.

I have .qry files I want to convert from using an odbc connection to oracle native. We have been finding faster reponses using native in Crystal Enterprise.

In the 'Crystal SQL Designer' help I see no reference on how to do this –or- if it is even possible.

Has anyone tried to ‘reset’ the database location in a .qry file?

Here's a whitepaper that says "No, you can't,", and explains the limitations of the SQL Designer, and why it's not such a great idea to use it in a development environment:

I'm not even sure it's supported any more.
