Hi,

I have just bought an Opt11, but need to erase the existing configuration. What is the best way to delete the existing config so I can start from scratch.

Pls note I do not have the passwords, the Opt11 was maintained by BT (British Telecom) two years ago and they no longer have any information on record.

Thanks

Eden

Is that an Option 11 or 11C?

If that is an Opt11C then you can reload the software. But for this you will need the keycodes & ISM data.

The only default I know is 0000

Are there others?

Try logi admin1 / pass? admin1 or logi admin1 / pass? (nothing)

anyone else?

If BT had it, the passords are FULL length, and cryptic junk like: BS4FOFGS986KA9HD

You will NEVER guess them, and they roll them every 60 days. They do tend to stick with ADMIN1 and ADMIN2 though. You will need to have the box cracked if you can't find the keycodes, TID, AUX ID, and ISM's to reload the software.

Hi Fletch,

Thanks for your response.

How can the box be 'cracked'? Is there no way to just delete the config. I actually want a clean system.
