I tried to use the apt-get remove command to remove Mozilla.

The remove command failed. Now anytime I do a apt-get anything, it responds that I have "pending actions" and it will not do anything at all.

How do I reset my local apt-get database, telling it to simply purge any pending actions?

Thanks
