Hi,

Is there a Solution/Workaround for the following problem:

I want to define more than one owner(or a group) for a resource in the reservation database!!!

Official Text from IBM (Data Sheet):
"Only select list of people can book resource via autoprocessing - all others require owner approval": No one but the selected users can book the resource/room. All others must go through approval of the listed owner to book the resource/room (only one owner allowed per resource/room).

Changing the design of the database is a nightmarish prospect, but you might want to try creating an ID to specifically deal with the issue, and "handing it out" to the people who need to manage reservations. If three or more people had the ID that is "owner" of the resources, then I imagine it would be easier to live with the whole thing. Using NotesBuddy would allow those people to "keep an eye" on the reservation requests, while staying in their own mail environment most of the time.
Of course, the issue would be that to deal with the requests, one would have to switch ID.
An other way might be to check the fields which control the status, and create a function to authorize reservations outside of the "owner" scheme (ie. filling in the status field with the correct value, via view action). In this case, extreme care must be taken to duplicate exactly the normal owner functionality, otherwise everything else might break down too.
