Reservation Database

Hi Peeps,

I have been asked to create a small app for a guest house (reservations) there are only 40 rooms. Do I need to create a field for every day of the forthcoming year to find out if a particular room is available on a particular day, or is there another way of doing this.

Also could I get away with using Access if I create several tables.

Create table room_reservations( rnum int,ondate smalldatetime)

Then insert a record for any day a room is reserved.
