Hello

I wonder if anyone can give me any advice as to how to go about this:

I will soon be looking for a new job, I have a clear idea of the type of company that I would like to work for (large national - preferably multinational) and I know the citys and towns that I am prepared to commute or relocate to.

What I would like to do is prepare a list of the above companies that are located in and around the locations that I am interested in, and then to write to them directly.

The problem is that I do not know have I can gather this information, does anyone know of any resources that are available to help find this info?

Thanks for any help,

EB

EB,
Consider contacting the Chamber of Commerce for each potential location. They will be able to supply you a list of members that meet your criteria. Happy hunting,

USE THE INTERNET
Do a search on Google for top companies.
Search for Multinational or International Companies..
Check out companies in Forbes, or stock market.

Try Toastmasters. Go to <
They have many clubs all over the country. Some are based at large companies. I got the best interview I've ever had this way, but didn't get the job.

Get involved with professional groups.

I forgot to add. It's good to know all about the companies you want to work for.

It's even more important to know what companies to avoid. A bad job can be worse than none.
