Hi,

does anyone have advice on a good book that I can buy to help guide me in creating a web database based on my access database? or turning my access database into a web database?

I'm not using sql server, just access right now.

Thanks

I wouldn't look for an Access book. You should consider ASP or ASP.net or consider the Express version of Visual Studio

DAPs require clients have Office ActiveX controls and ADO components. If your clients are within your company (an intranet) this solution might work.

John Viescas has a fairly substantial section (4 chapters) of his book "Microsoft Office Access 2003 Inside Out" dedicated to linking Access and the web.

Thanks guys. I'll check these out.

On an intranet, he can then use the shared drive or split the db. and use replicas and sync them. If he doesn't want to get involved in programming, then a citrix server might suit him.
