Rescheduled, repeating meetings not moved in calendar

I have a problem with some users whereby a single instance of a repeating meeting is rescheduled, the process appears to work smoothly (reschedule notice sent, accepted, etc.) but occasionally the invitee's calendar is not updated to reflect the change. The common denominator appears to be the use of delegated authorities on either/or both the chairman and invitee's calendar.

Any clues anyone?
