Hello
When I try and reschedule a call, a highlight it, click "Calendar", then "Reschedule....". At this point the day and date used to appear. Now, only the Day appears. This is quite difficult if I need to reschedule for week or more in advance as you have no idea which week you are on. I can get around this by clicking on the arrow to bring the calendar up. Is this minor problem resolvable please?
I run Windows XP and not sure of processor but pentium "something!!"

Dear simoncook1969,
Could you please tell us what version of sidekick you are using and what your Date/Regional properties are set to? Regards Jim

Hi
Sorry, Sidekick 98, not sure what you mean by "Date / Regional Properties" though.
I am in the UK if that helps
Thank you
Simon Cook

Dear Simon,
Date / Regional properties is in
StartMenu|Settings|Control Panel|Regional settings|Date
and determines how your Date is displayed, as in:

yyyymmdd to display 2003/01/08 for todays date
or ddmmyy to display 08/01/03 for todays date
(assuming in both cases that you have chosen / as the Date separator).
The reason that I have asked this is that it affects the way all programs (including Sidekick) display dates and sometimes a particular format can disturb the display in dialogues or programs. Regards Jim

Hi James
Sorry, i thought this was in sidekick settings.
Ok, I display it as dd/mm/yy

Dear Simon,
I am a little confused as to the situation where you are getting this fault.
To quote your question:
"When I try and reschedule a call, I highlight it, click "Calendar", then "Reschedule....". At this point the day and date used to appear. Now, only the Day appears"
Is it a Call or an Internet activity or a ToDo as in SK98 it is called editing when you choose to reschedule a call or in fact any of the above.
To help us all find the answer to this one, could you please describe the sequence of events in the words of Sidekick only because I seem to be a little slow on the uptake so far. Regards Jim

Hi Jim
Thank you for your response again. By pure fluke, the problem has been resolved. When you prompted me to look at the date settings, i changed from long format (dd/mm/yyyy) to short format (dd/mm/yy). Viola !!
Just for reference however, the problem occurred when trying to reschedule a call. If i highlighted the call, then followed the process i have described (Calendar, Reschedule etc..)only the day appeared. The rest of the box was blank. Now i realize it is possibly because it did not fit so, didnt put anything! Thank you for helping me sort this matter out.
Simon Cook :)
