Server running XP, was wondering how to upgrade to get past the calendar issue? Also thinking of building a new Server on Win 10 Pro.

Any help would be appreciated. Cant get any response from Helpdesk of course. How do they stay in business, especially since Covid eased their Support Queue?

Thanks in advance,,

Forget about upgrading. You are running XP, you need to get off that ASAP.

Build your new server and do a fresh install and migrate across the database.

You can download the latest base versions from
Specialist in creating custom applications for the Micros POS range: 3700, 9700, Simphony FE, Simphony. SIM Scripts, Data Exports, Simphony extension applications, API Creation and integration. If you need anything please contact me via my website

You'll need access to the Oracle Software Delivery website and their support site.
Obtain the 5.7.0 Installer from the Software delivery site.
Obtain any additional software (CC Drivers for example)
Obtain 5.7 MR6 patch (current latest) from the Support Site.
Obtain 5.7.6.4 Hotfix (current latest) from the support site.
Create a fresh backup of your database, all report files, logs, scripts, etc.

Follow the Micros documentation for fresh 5.7 install here once you put together a new box.
Use Windows 10 or Server 2016 (2019 is not supported).

I converted Res 4.9 and 4.11 db to 5.5 without going through preconvert and all seems ok except for custom labor reports not running

All I did was restored the 4.x database in Res 5.5 through DM and then ran DM -U to update the database

Under RES 4.9 GR you need to preconvert your DB.
