2 offices:
abc.com Exchange 5.5
xyz.com Exchange 2000
inter-domain mail uses X400 over a Point-to-point T1. All is working well until T1 goes down this past weekend. Re-establish connection and data communications (IP traffic),
Can ping successfully from ex55.abc.com to ex2000.xyz.com, but x400 mail piles up in the MTA queue on both sides.
Both sides are scheduled for continuous/Always on connection.
no errors in the event log on the 5.5 side. on the 2000 side, messages pertinaing to degraded performance on the circuit. have ISP checking circuit.
now the question...
is there a way to re-route queued x400 mail to SMTP? can I simply re-direct the mail to xyz.com to run over the internet instead?
Thanks in advance... Kevin
