Hello!

I am hoping this is a simple resolution. (IPO 500v2 11.0.4.5.0 Build 18)

I am trying to have calls from our auto attendant routed to a SIP line that goes to another system in our network.

IE: someone calls our auto attendant from the external line, and instead of the regular internal extensions (2xxx), they dial the other set (4xxx) and it sends the 4xxx to the external system out of the SIP line. If we try right now, it says it's not a normal selection and fails.

Presently, we can dial internally to the 4xxx without issue using a short code.

Is there a way to have this short code also work from AA?

Thank you in advance!

If the shortcode works the way you want it………………….
Then use your AA to Transfer to the shortcode

Just remember that trunk to trunk transfer/forwarding is off by default. Test by manually transferring an incoming call to the a 4xx number. If it works, then you're good to go as snowman50 said. Otherwise, you need to allow the external forward/transfers setting.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
