Reroute IP address

I want to keep a computer(A) from accessing another computer(B) on the network. It has to be by IP address. I tried putting an entry in the route table of computer A to route packets destined to B to 127.0.0.1 but that did not work. Any ideas?

How about a firewall on computer B blocking all network traffic from computer A ?

Have you tried sticking the same entry in the host file?

Biglebowskis Razor - with all things being equal if you still can't find the answer have a shave and go down the pub.

Host file entries dont work as computer A is accessing B by IP address. I have not seen when in the windows firewall that I can restrict incoming IP addresses?

Ok what about a persistent route to a non existent network I.e

Route add -p <comp A> 255.255.255.255 <unused ip>

Who says you have to use the Windows firewall app ???
