Hi all - having a bit of a time figuring out how to configure ESN to re-route PSTN calls to DID numbers at other sites over our PRI trunks pointing to a gateway. Our users are creatures of habit and/or have speed dial numbers set up for colleagues DID numbers at other offices. So I'm wanting to configure ESN to look for 9-1-907-555-1234 for example, and DMI it to 9-555-1234 and route it out the PRI trunk route to the gateway. The issue that I am having is that I know I can create a SPN and put in one Alternate DN but can I insert a range? or is there any other thoughts to this under SDRR/DID...

Use DSC in LD 87

I'd do it as ARRN's against your SPN. So say you have an SPN of 1907 and you wanted the 555 1xxx range it would be a sigle ARRN 5551 Route it using your ARLI and delete 4 insert 9

What is I wanted the whole block say the other campus has the block 235-16xx, can I just put 23516 in the ARRN and it will take the xx part as a wild card? I am assuming yes...

I am doing something similar at my workplace. I am sending DID's from a Nortel Switch to a Cisco Gateway. Basically, I set up a CDP the last 4 digits of the DID and ship that over the pipe built for Cisco. That can be accomplished in LD-87. I would take that 1234 of the number you provided and build a new RLI and point it at the gateway. Hope this helps.

Yea I cant do it that way...
I am not sending DID per say I am sending just certain numbers out of certain NXX's....

So for example...
1.907.235.1600-1699 are all extensions at another campus...

Well that same 1620 is a directory number at my campus...

So in that example SPN 1907 is sent out as Delete 4 type NXX and you could use an LDID 2351620
