Requiring Long Distance Codes

We have a Merlin Magix Release 4.0 and are wondering if we can set up the phone system to require a code to be entered when dialing a long distance number. Is this possible? Does anyone have any documentation on it?

We used to do this directly with our Telco but are wondering if we can do it ourselves in the phone system instead.

You can set-up account codes on the system, but you would be prompted for this code prior to receiving dial-tone. So, you would have to enter your account code whether dialing local or LD.

You could toll restrict the physical extensions then setup phantoms and authcodes to dial LD
