I'm trying to download the users guide from a program called MyDataBase. In so doing, it gives me this error:

"MyDataBase could not find Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0 on your computer. This program is required to view or print the manual."

I have the latest free download off of the internet for Adobe Reader 7.0. I would think that having the most up to date Adobe Reader should be sufficient for reading or viewing any Adobe file. I believe that the error may be more on the side of the MyDataBase program rather than the Adobe, but I'm not sure, because I have had troubles with Adobe before.

Please, please advise. Thank you!

I'm guessing that his is pretty old - acrobat 3. Basically the pdf was created some time ago - designated as a Reader 3 file. Today's vresion 7 is not even called Acrobat Reader. It's called Adobe Reader. Your program cannot find Adobe Reader.

If you have the pdf, launch Reader and go to File menu.Open and use that to open the pdf. I'm guesing that you database program will not support openin gthe pdf help from within the program unless you can find an upgrade or update.
