Hi you!

I've been writing tools with Visual Basic in order to access databases for a while now and never had any problems with that. To get a little more exact: at work I've been developing programs with VB to read and write data to and from Access databases.
Now I wanted to write such a program at home, privatly, which I want to create, read and write Access databases. My problem is: My Visual Basic 6.0 Profesional Edition at home doesn't have the neccessary data types for some reason. I can't create recordsets, there is no Database or Connection object... Is there anything I still need to get ADO and ODBC to work? I installed the full package. What I don't have at home are the Service Packs. But that shouldn't be neccessary, should it?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanx
