Hello All,
Currently we're running Symposium Express 4.2 on a single server. What would be the spec for clustering it. Will I also need to purchase more licenses?
Thanks in advance,
Eitsalo

Nope, Clustering is not supported by Nortel.
As of version 5 you can purchase 2 additional servers. 1 will be a replication server, which grabs the data from the active SCCS server and pushes it to the inactive Standby SCCS server.

It is a great pain to swap the 2 machines, as you need to run the setup wizard twice...

CC 6 I believe should do better (but I haven't seen this feature in live action yet).

Look into Stratus servers. Nortel themselves have pushed us this way. While you cannot cluster Symposium, the Active upgrade features of Stratus are a solid choice and the reliability is unsurpassed.
