Required VB Dlls

Does anyone know what paths ( if any) vb will search for the dlls it requires to run a compiled program? for instance if i provide all required dlls on a cd with the exe will it work? or do they have to be explicitly registered?

any help appreciated!

Unless I'm mistaken, you would have to have the DLLs in one of two places: in the directory where the exe resides, or in the windows\system32 directory.
