hi,

customer needs to power a ac-ac convertor for 4hrs.
output of convertor is 110V 300w.
The customer is connecting a small drinks machine to this and no power is available. He wants to connect to a UPS/Battery for this duration IS IT ACHIEVABLE?

Don't know what plug type the drink machine needs, but a quick input of the data you provided at one of the manufacturer's website like APC's, resulted in
APC Smart-UPS XL 750VA USB & Serial 120V + (2)SUA24XLBP Battery Unit which would keep the unit up for 373 minutes while shaving one of the extra battery units would knock it down to 210 minutes.

A more practical idea would be to buy/rent a very quiet portable generator - Honda makes some that are VERY civilized! a 500 or 600 watt unit would be small, practical, and quiet.
