Required Field within Electronic Form?

Somewhat related to another posting... I have a form that I want to enforce that it must contain information. Under the Common Properties, checking the required box seems to do nothing. At the very least, I'd like it to prompt for information when tabbing across a blank entry that is required...

Help!
