Hello. I'm new to the forum and am looking for any suggestions on how I can test a Valcom VP-4024B power supply. With no load the unit outputs roughly -24.5 volts but the overload indicator is dimly lit. Unfortunately I don't have any resistors available to create a dummy load.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Only way I know of to test output on the old Valcom units is to get a volt meter and set it for the DC output range on the meter and apply the probes to the +/- outputs and read the meter.
