request with telnet doesn't work

Hi,

Tomcat is running - everything is fine!
But I want to set up a request via telnet (Port is correct) and it doesn't work.

Can anybody help me?

Is your Tomcat server behind a firewall?

No it isn't.
Apache and Tomcat are running.
Both of them are available through a webbrowser.
Apache talk with me when I send request via telnet.
But Tomcat doesn't do it. There come no error-messages
or something else. Nothing! Tomcat react to the request,
but all I can see is the blinking cursor and nothing else.
In which log-files could I see what the problem is???

umm... the log files are in the logs folder

I have no problem using telnet with tomcat.
