hi,

suppose i create a report where i put a prompt for selection after displaying the report if the user again executes the report it doesn't prompt again but uses the previous selected value. is it possible to again prompt without closing and opening the report.

is it possible to add more styles to Microstrategy Desktop apart from given some 10 styles, like we do for Document selecting a XSL style.

I'm not sure about the first request.
But the second one can be done using the following tech note.

i'm not talking about changing prompt style instead want to change the look of the report in MS from normal (Black & Red) to my own user defined style other than the given styles... is that possible....

1. reprompting in desktop will likely be supported soon, but is already available in the web product today.
2. After you custom format your report in desktop 7i, you can save it as your own "autostyles". These autostyles will be available for re-use in either web or desktop. But you must use 7i.
