Repost: EC=Bad Netpath Error messages

Can anyone please help me with this one? We have ARCServe 2000 Advanced Edition (SP4) on a Win2000 server. One of our servers being backed up is a Netware 5.11 server which also happens to be our main data server. Anyway, ARCServe gives me the following error message for some of the directories being backed up on this server, others are backed up fine. We know it is not related to long filenames due to the variety of directories and files having this prob and other files with long filenames being backed up without problems. Also, our other Netware 5.11 data server is backed up using the same Win2000 server without any error messages.

Eror messages:
W3404 Unable to open file(File=[path]) EC=Bad Netpath

Any help, pointers, suggestions very much appreciated!

In addition, I performed a small test backup backing up files that had the error message returned in the normal backup. This test backup went through fine and all the "trouble" files were backed up perfectly. Help!! Edmée de Klerk
