We recently started using ePO 3...upgraded from 2.5.1.

We are using ePO3 and the repository pull task to update the latest DAT files to our master repository. However, this pull task is not giving us the same results we were getting before using a mirror task. Previously we would get both .tar and .zip files when running the mirror task.

Now when using the ePO3 repository pull task, we get the latest dat files in the dat-xxxx.zip format, but not the dat files in the dat-xxxx.tar format for UNIX. Is there anything I'm missing, or has anyone else noticed the same problem?

Do you have any particular need for the .TAR file? This is only needed for UNIX-based installs, which IIRC, is not supported by ePO 3.0 yet. Should you still require this, there's no harm in manually downloading the file. The structure of the repository pull in ePO is designed for its use only. UNIX hasn't been integrated yet (if ever) so until it does, the .TAR file isn't included in the pull.
