We have 2 hundreds users in our company. It's becoming a issue to document who is using what reports. We're currently cut & paste from BCA to excel spreadsheet. It's a pain of the neck. Do anyone know a better way to do that? Thanks in advance.

Business objects will have this mistral product out this year - don't know the exact date - you can check with them. Wth this tool - it allows the end user to subscribe to whichever report they want and schedule to run and post it to them. I think that's the capability of the product and may be more.
Check it out - hope that helps.

You could also in your report set up a seperate report tab for documentation. You could then use this tab to document user, information about report etc.

SamBO,

If I understand your request right, it seems like you just want a high level summary of who is running what on your BCA. An easy way to get this data, and get your BCA to give it to you, is with a little Repository mining. The two Repo tables that contain the information about your BCA's are:

DS_PENDING_JOB
DS_USER_LIST

There is some pretty good documentation on your Repo tables on the Business Objects CD in the Freeware folder. The repostry.htm document gives info on all the tables. So, with a universe built on the columns in these tables, and put into a report to summarize that information, you can schedule your BCA to give you daily updates about itself. Hope that helps.
