I have a question...

I have a database that holds the addresses of all my clients. I need to print envolopes with those addresses on them, and so i was told to make a report, but unfortuntely i dont know how .. could some one please help me as soon as possible..

THANK YOU

OK

If you open up the table, choose TOOLS from the main menu, choose quick design from the TOOLS menu and then choose QUICK REPORT from that menu.

That will open a report up with all the fields on it. To create labels or envelopes you will need to enter into design mode by pressing F8, Then choose FORMAT and then LAYOUT. Change the style from tabular to single record, unclick the LABEL FIELD, click on the fields tab and remove all the unused fields.

When you say OK, it will say that you are about to replace the entire report design, approve this.

You can then move the fields where you will. You will also want to click on the left and side of the ruler to put in a page break after the fields. If you choose FILE and PAGE SETUP you can choose the size paper for the envelope. You will need to use trial and error to get the data in the right position on the evelope.

Hope this helps

Take the easy way out and print address labels. You can use the report expert to do it automatically.
