Hi all...

I have a report which I would like to distribute with Crystal 7 runtime DLLs. However, the graph in the report causes the report to crash with a "CRRUN32" error, when the executable is run

The format I am using to distribute the reports is to have the Crystal 7 runtime files (and CRRUN32.exe) in a folder, along with the report.exe, report.rpt and report.crf files. This works fine for 99% of the reports, but when I try to run a report which contains a graph, the error above will appear, and the report will not be printed. Removing the graph from the report resolves the problem.

Any ideas anyone....

Thank you in advance for your help and thoughts,

Alan Crawford.

Alan,

We had a similar problem (Crrun32 error) when creating runtime files. We found that the problem was that the user also need to have on their PC a folder called SSChart and it respective contents.

This was located in the following path:

C:\Program Files\Seagate Software\SSChart

This seems to have resolved the problem. You probably will not need the entire contents of the folder. But it might be as well to include everything as later if you design more complex graph reports you have to go back and figure out which files you need for the additional functionality.
