Hi, I have a form that allows a user to select criteria on which to build a Where clause that filters a report. A number of the criteria boxes are list boxes that allow multiple selections. MY problem is that some of the criteria on which I will like to filter is contained in sub-reports. How do I create a where clause that filters the main report based on one or more values that are on a sub-report. Not even sure it is possible.
Any help is appreciated.

I expect you could add the records from the subreport to your main report's record set but group by all the fields from the main report and don't include the fields from the subreport in the field output.

Thanks Duane, that is exactly what I did. My only issue is that I needed to create a query that had a record for every combination of parent and child fields. It now makes my query results huge since I have one parent and a number of child tables.
