Hi Group,
I have a report with many sub-reports. If the sub-reports do not contain any data, the reports are suppressed i.e. headings are not printed.

This works fine on the local machine using the SAME data as that on the Server.
However when the report is run on the Server, the blank reports are NOT suppressed.
It has been suggested that it is a settings within Crystal Reports installed on the Server.
The same version that is on the server is installed locally.

What should I be looking for?

Kind Regards

Check the file->Options area for convert nulls to default values, that may be the culprit.

I believe that starting with CR 9.0 there is a format option "Suppress blank subreport". Not sure where it is located since I don't have 9.0. Search the format subreport screens and also perhaps the report options screen.

Thanks Guys.
We're using version 8.5 and I can't see any of the options you have mentioned.
The report runs OK locally but does not suppress blanks when run from the Server. It's the SAME report.
Surely this is a setting OUTSIDE the report? so I shouldn't have to open the report but look for a setting elsewhere?

Regards
