Reports prompting User name and password when invoking from browser

hi All

I installed Crystal reports 8.5 developer version and crystal Enterprise version 8 after that on Windows 2000

I got IE 5 installed on my server.

I designed reports in 8.5 version , they are working normally when invoked directly by double clicking on them.

the database location and data source are set to correct one.

the problem is while invoking from browser its prompting the user name and passowrd indefinitly, its not opening the report in the Browser.

plese help its urgent.

I had the same problem. I found this report (

on Seagate's page and I don't have the problem anymore. I set up a user and password that doesn't have any rights except to view the reports and it works great.
