When i open a report and browse it will skip and blank page and count it as a page? i chked the margins and made sure all the info on the report fits on the page and it does. also from the a form if i print a report for the current information on the page it also prints two pages. first being the info and second being the blank page? i there a setting somewere for a serperator page of some sort? also i know the command on the report for =Now() but that displays the current day. is there a query for just the month, day year? exm Oct, 29 2003 Thanks, PAUL

Hi

To get date only Date()

To get various formats see format property of the control eg

Long Date, Short Date, Medium Date, ...etc

Your blank page problem is prbably caused by having something overrunning the page width, else look at the properties of all sections, check for the 'print new page before / after" setting in cas you have one of them set to yes Regards

This one used to drive me nuts! I'd end up remaking the report before I finally figured out what was wrong. Access reports are really fussy in their formatting. If you insert a line slightly over the page width, or a field, or whatever, it will print that extra blank page. The occurs even if you've moved or resized the object because you didn't resize the page. Just go to the right edge of the report and nudge it in a little bit, check in page preview, and repeat until the report is not showing the blank pages. The most likely culprit that caused it are lines.

Thnx for the responses people. thats exactly what the problem was.....thnx again you guys really help out in these situation. Thanks, PAUL
