Reports in PENDING status 1

In CE 10 , when I schedule a report or run a report , it is just in pending state.
1) I have checked in Crystal Reports , the reports refresh fine.
2) Checked all the servers and they are running.
3) Rebooted the servers (Crystal01 & Crystal 02 ), its in cluster.

Need help as we are not able to run any of the reports in CE10

Bunch of possible causes..

1.) Is you CE 10 environment current with all it's Patches and Hot Fixes?

2.) Are any of these reports "EVENT Dependent" in CE?

3.) Do they run OK in your DEV/TEST environments for CE - and this only happens in PROD?

4.) What USER ID are they being run under? Do the run OK under ADMINISTRATOR?

5.) Anything in the Error Logs from your CMS or Report Job Servers?

6.) What CE server components are on each of the 2 servers in your cluster?

7.) What's the CMS database and where does it reside?

Post your answers and we can probably point you in the right direction.

We are one service pack behind and I have already proposed to instal the same but the issue came up just like that and the management wants this to be solved before we go ahead and instal the SP

2.) Are any of these reports "EVENT Dependent" in CE?
None.

3.) Do they run OK in your DEV/TEST environments for CE - and this only happens in PROD?
We dont have DEV/TEST but I did run them in Crystal reports and they run fine.

4.) What USER ID are they being run under? Do the run OK under ADMINISTRATOR?
I am running these reports in ADMINISTRATOR id.

5.) Anything in the Error Logs from your CMS or Report Job Servers?
Checked the error logs and there are no errors.

6.) What CE server components are on each of the 2 servers in your cluster?
Cache, Management, Event, Page, ProgramJob, Report Appln, Report job, Web component servers exists on both CRYSTAL01 & CRYSTAL02.

7.) What's the CMS database and where does it reside?
I am trying to run the sample reports which we get with the product and these were successful before.

Another question: What message is displayed when you click on the "Pending" link on the report history page?

Have you had these reports running before in CE?
Is this the first time they have been run under CE?
If not, what changed in the environment?

I have these reports run in CE before. The only difference is the amount of data has increased.
 
Hi Rathiv,
I got this issue resolved, there are two things you can do :
1)Change the crystal enterprise database
2) Apply all the patches

When we applied the latest patch and it didnt solve the issue, we pointed CE to a new database it resolved it , our guess is the database was corrupeted.
