Hi all,

Have been investigating/searching on this without success and hope that someone can help

I have a report with different groups/subgroups and want to change the numbering of the subgroups to something different to the numerical format available (1, 2, 4, 4).

For example for the first subgroup, I want to use some roman numbering (I, II, III,IV) and for the sub-subgroup, alphabetical numbering (a, b, c, d)

Is this actually possible to do with Ms Access?

Thanks a lot
Babou

There is a function to convert numbers to Roman Numerals at VBA Procedure to Convert Numbers to Roman Numerals

Converting numbers to letters can be done with a text box control source of:
Code:
=Chr(96+ [YourNumberTextBox])
I assume you already understand how to number the records in a report.
