This is a strange problem and recently started occurring. I have a process for printing 2-3 reports from an Access 2003 database. The user clicks a button on a form and the desired reports are printed. Report A is a letter, Report B is an Access report and Report C is an invoice. Reports A and B always print, and when necessary, Report C will print.

The user has a particular printer set as the default printer. (it's the one behind her desk -- we'll call it Printer A) There's another printer she uses sometimes that's out in a common area (we'll call it Printer B).

The problem is this: Last week Report A and C were printing to Printer A and Report B was printing to Printer B. My user spent one afternoon last week going nuts because she couldn't figure out why her middle report wasn't printing. (she didnt' realize it was going to a different printer) Later, someone brought her the printed pages from Printer B and the mystery of where all those copies of Report B went was solved. Now we need to figure out WHY they went to the other printer.

Suggestions? Ideas? I appreciate any assistance!

Thanks Duane! I had wondered about that. I don't have access to the printer this user wants to use, but it's quite possible I edited that report while at her workstation. So, if I open the two access reports in design view on my computer, it will use the default printer of my user when she runs them and thus solve the problem?

If you don't have the same printers as the user then I expect you will be asked if you want to use your default printer. You would respond yes and then save the report design.
