Reports for patchmanagement wanted

as we are looking at the way to use SMS2003 as patchmanagementtool. We want to expand the reports for showing the status of clients. The default reports are not what we want.
Did anyone build some querys to show the information?

I just use the Compliance reports built in to SMS, have you tried these?
