which reporting components are you thinking of using?
Quick reports? Crystal reports?
QR is free, and included in delphi (I am not sure if on all versions). Anyway you can get some info at in the download section, they have a knowledge base.
QR is simple and easy to learn, there are a few bugs, but if your reports are simple enough, it will suffice.
CR quite powerful, cost money. When you buy CR you get the developer files with help files included. It also has the VCL for delphi intergration.
