I am having trouble with the page setup in ACCESS 2000. I set a report to be landscape and this may work for the first one or two openings of the report and then the next time I open it it reverts back to portrait.

Is there anyway to hard code a report to open in landscape?

Cheers

Did you set the page properties while the report was in the design mode? - - - -

Yes, it doesn't seem to matter if I set it in design mode, preview mode or both, it will end up defaulting back to portrait at some stage.

It is a bug in Access 2000. To solve the problem, on the Menu go to Tools..Options...General and look for Name Auto Correct. Deselect all the checkboxes in that section. Then when you save your Report if will retain the setup. Also, I think you can go to Microsoft and download a patch for this problem. Do a Search at Microsoft.com and you will probably find it.

Hi Paul,

I changed the options as you suggested and I have had no problems since then.

Thank you - your advice was much appreciated.
