I have a form with starting and ending date fields and various buttons to run reports. Also there is a field for manager name to run manager specific reports.

One of my reports has a sub reports that does total calculations and then my main report takes that number and does divisions and percents. Which works great, except the sub-report total doesn't refresh if I choose a different manager's name even though the main report does refresh and pull up the data for that manager.

How can I get the sub-report data to clear from memory so that the same total doesn't appear on every report and thus skewing the percentages.

Thanks in advance.

Ensure that you have entered the Link Fields information for the Subreport "Link Child Field, Link Master Field" In your Case a "Manager ID Number" type Field.

The way this works is, On the current record you have a unique IDNum Field and you sould also have the Same field in the SubReport.(Or one that has the Same info)

This limits the records to display only the one that matches the Current IDNum In the Main Report. In your Case the "Current Manager". So when the Current Record changes, the info in the SubReport will Change acording to the new IDNum. Thus updating the Information in the SubReport.

What I found out...I was asleep...my sub-report query was picking up company wise totals and not manager wise totals.

Thanks for the info though.
