I'm working with a contact database (I'm self taught so I use that term "database" loosely ;) ) and, I was asked if I can create a report based on a query that will show when a customer had a visit during a month... it's a visual thing for them. So, it would look like this

Customers Visits required Jan Feb Mar Apr May etc...
xyz 2 x x
abc 1
def 4 x x x x

I can see an immediate problem - even if this is doable.. but, if a customer had two visits in January, that would be hard to show..

Any thoughts?

It certainly looks doable, probably using a Crosstab query. From that you can get the totals by customer. And using an IIf statement, you could replace non-null values in the month columns with X's......
