Reportprinting to UNC-paths

I am the administrator of an application that uses Crystal Report 6.0 to create reports.
I have 3 NT 4.0 servers involved:
1 Oracle 7.3.4 DB server
1 Batch server
1 Printserver

Clients order jobs which are taken care of by the batch server which creates the reports and send them on to the printserver for printout. I specify printdestinations within the application as UNC-paths.

The application logfile shows:

"Calling Crystal Interface for printing rpt-file:
Printer '\\hstd-agr5\test' exists somewhere but is not
valid for user 'agresso5' on host 'AGRESSOBATCH'
Report will not be printed"

The user that starts the application NT service has administrator rights and is used to create the the printer queues.
I get this problem everytime I specify an UNC-path as printerdestination within the application, even if I try and specify the UNC-path to a printer that resides on the same machine as the batch service.
If I specify nothing but the local printername the reportprinting works fine.
Also, printing other jobs (not Crystal Reports) the printing works fine even if I use UNC-paths to printers on the (remote) printserver.

I have tried getting some answers from the developers of the application to why Crystal reports won´t print via UNC-paths but I don´t get any.

I´m grateful for any suggestions and hints.
Thanx

If you get answers to this, I'd be intrested - I've got a simular situation.

All right, I will.
But so far no luck.
