ReportNet reports always open in Excel

Hi,
I need my reports to open in .CSV format but IE always opens the report file with .xls extension and obviously in Excel. I don't understand why .csv extension is not applied. Can someone please help me out?

Are you sure that it has a xls extension ?
In most computers CSV extension are associated with excel, therefore that s why IE opens Excel to view CSV files.

Try saving the report, then copy the file to your computer and see in Notepad what you get.

Thanks Draoued. Yes, the extension is .xls. I tried saving the report and renaming with .csv extension but the file was not comma delimited, so it didnt work.
Any other suggestions?
