Reportnet installation : cannot launch the portal

Hi
I have installed Cognos 8 server and configure it with a SQL Server base. I pass all the tests in Cognos Configuration so I launch the Cognos 8 services without problem.

But there is no application server running on port 80 : I cannot access the portal and Framework Manager display an error when it try to access to an URL on port 80.
A tomcat instance is running on port 9300 without problem.
I have no firewall, no other web server.

Please tell me how I can try to launch this app server manually this problem blocks me...

ok I thought that the web server would be configured automatically.
My fault.
For the newbies like me : after performing installation, set virtual directories on folders c8/webcontent and c8/cgi-bin

and for the IIS 6 users allow "all unknown cgi extentions" in the webserver
