Hi,

I have created a Report Studio report that has a prompt for the user to select the years that they want to filter the report on. This is all working fine, but what I also want is for the selected prompt values to be displayed in the header of the report.

I can't seem to find a way to insert a parameter or filter value into the report header - does anyone have any ideas? What am I missing???!!!

Well, doesnt matter anymore - I figured out how to do it myself!

In case anyone is interested, you just need to insert a text item into the report header, enter nothing in the "Text" property, and then in the "Report Expression" property, enter something like:
"Filter: " + ParamDisplayValue("<parameter_name>")

Voila!

To avoid typing, drag a calculation (of type Layout) to the header. Under the Available components list, select the parameters tab, then double-click your parameterized filter.

Hope that made you smile...
