ReportNet: Execution Time Variation (Urgent)

Hi,

We have a report in the Report Studio which is running fine and giving the correct data. The problem is that the execution time varies from 10 sec to 10 minutes for the same prompt selection and data.

What could be the reason for the same.

Network traffic & database activity (esp if your Content Store is on a shared DB server) are two things that could affect. Also, is this occurring on a single site, or are the 10 sec people on one site and the 10 min on another? If so, take a look at the hops.
