Reporting totals only, and not the records that make up the total

Hi,
I have a report that I want it to total a specific field in a set of records that I have it query based apon a parameterized query. How can I make it only display the record totals and not the individual records that the total is made from?

Are there fields in the detail section of the report?? If so, delete them from there......

If I understand your question, set the Visible property of the Detail band to "No".
