I recently tried to search a good reporting tool. I tried to good old Crystal Reports 4.6 that comes with VB6, but this program doesn't support subreports. So I tried the new version, 8. In my opninion there are a lot of bugs in this program, it totally screwed up my project. It could handle sub reports ...
So I continued my search and I tried several others, like True DBReports.
But finally I found what I was looking for : Componentone VSView 7 Reporting Edition. This tool has it all! You can store all of your reports in 1 XML file, you can use sub reports, and most important of all, it really does what you ask of it.
Does anyone else uses this reporting tool, or do you use other tools? Please let me know!
