I Have a general question to ask. My company is using Cognosa as it's main BI Application. My question is how can we determine if we have an effecient reporting system in place??? Is there any resource that I could use???

I'd tend to check out the '24 ways' book, I think it paints a pretty good picture of effective reporting. As for efficieny, well .... how long is a bit of string. That a pretty speculative question. It'll mean different things to different peoeple and naturally be different for different environments.

I suppose you might consider evaluating :
What Value does this provide to the business ?
over
What does this cost (time/effort/money) ?
This might provide a ballpark guide, but it's still pretty vague.

I tend to focus more on, "is it effective ?" question. is my solution providing what the business needs. If your doing well in this department then you changes of outweighing the cost are far greater. Almost regardless of how your going about it.
